Lone Mountain Ranch Trail System
Cross country skiing is and always has been a way of life at Lone Mountain Ranch. Beautifully groomed trails are a top priority. Trails groomed to our standard of excellence require a great deal of preparation before the snow flies, and then, when the snow does come, top-of-the-line grooming equipment and dedicated operators make all the difference.

Our 90km trail system is groomed regularly by a highly motivated grooming staff using state-of-the-art Pisten Bully snowcats, with tillers and an arsenal of other custom-designed implements to deal with virtually any snow condition! The entire trail system is groomed for both skate ski and diagonal -striding. Beautifully formed tracks are laid on one side, and a skating platform on the other side. Grooming is done each night to assure the best possible skiing the following day.
