Recommended Whitewater Trip
Half Day Lower Whitewater – Class III/IV
Famous for being the best river trip near Yellowstone Park, this is sure to be the highlight of your vacation. Big Sky’s most popular river experience, this exciting adventure combines the thrill of whitewater with the magnificent views of the wild Gallatin Canyon. Feel the excitement grow as you plunge through Screaming Left, House Rock and the Mad Mile.
Great for rafters of all experience levels. Throughout the season age limitations apply due to the varying levels of the river and difficulty. If you are visiting in late May or early June, this section of river may be closed due to high water. Typically plan on the Upper Whitewater for anyone less than 14 years of age during this time, which will be an exciting class III(IV) whitewater experience!
